I think what Marc means is that you should be able to find some TFCD work, hence no fees either way. However, a lot of photographers would rather work with you once you have turned 18. At your age, an agency would be the safest option but this costs lots of money and is filled with false promises. If you do find a photographer to work with be sure to take a chaperone. Good luck!

Hi Jasmiine, Thank you for your message, glad you found my comments helpful, I hope it helps to keep you and others safe! I think initailly you'll find you'll probably have to, like most people do, work without being paid, but rather (TFP or TFCD) to get your exposure up and a good, quality, professional portfolio to use to sell yourself. Since you're working for a portfolio you think will sell you best, you should choose the photographers who's work you like and you believe will give you the kinds of pics you want. If you start getting work offers on the back of your portfolio, you can look to start charging, but remember, still be cautious about who you work with. Always be safe!! I don't think it's an easy career by any means and there may be a lot of disappointment along the way. But if it's your dream and you make it....frantastic!!! I wish you all the best!! :) S
