As site administrator I am becoming increasingly concerned at the number of young hopefuls throwing themselves at dubious 'photographers' who quite clearly have no artistic talent and whose motives are severely questionable.

This is extremely dangerous behaviour and I feel the time has come to control just who is allowed to sign up on here and claim to be a photographer.

With this in mind, all new sign-ups will shortly undergo a pending status where their profiles are checked out by administration before they go public. For the safety of our models, any members with unprofessional profiles will be deleted.

Additionally, any current members with unprofessional accounts will also shortly be removed from ModelLink.

It is time to get serious on here and it is hoped that these new security measures will encourage a larger number of talented and professional photographers to join to ensure the highest levels of safety and benefit for our models. In turn, it is important that models do not let down the photographers when they have booked you for a shoot.

In the meantime, take a good look at a photographer's profile and ask yourself if they should really be feeling so proud of their portfolio. "Is this really their best work?"

Don't forget, you can always contact me for advice and opinion

Thank you,

David

Hello all,

Can't agree with Webmaster more!  I've offered some advice to young/new models on my profile too and ALL advice is worth considering!  First and foremost be safe and by all means ask the advice from serious members and the webmaster for advice about shooting with photographers!

Take care and look after yourselves!

Marc (40) from Bournemouth has been reported to admin for asking a 16yr old girl to pose nude. DO NOT CONTACT THIS MAN. If he has contacted you to arrange a shoot do not reply.
